Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or applying to an internship on Engitrack, you accept these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (or have parent/guardian consent if 16+ per DPDP Act §9) and currently enrolled in a recognised educational institution to apply for an internship.

3. Application & selection

  • Applications are free.
  • Selection is at our sole discretion. We do not guarantee selection.
  • You may apply to multiple internships, but only one selection is active at a time.

4. Task submission

  • Each selected student receives one task with a deadline.
  • Submission is one-shot: you can only submit once and cannot resubmit.
  • Submissions after the deadline are not accepted.
  • We reserve the right to reject submissions that fail to meet quality standards. Feedback will be provided.

5. Certificates

  • Certificates are issued only after successful payment and successful task review.
  • Certificates are personal to you and non-transferable.
  • We may revoke a certificate if we discover the submission was plagiarised, fraudulent, or violated these terms. Revoked certificates appear as invalid on the public verification page.

6. Intellectual property

You retain ownership of work you submit. By submitting, you grant Engitrack a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display the submission to reviewers and reference it in your certificate verification page. TODO: clarify portfolio-showcase consent.

7. Acceptable use

You agree not to: submit work that is not your own, attempt to interfere with the platform, harass other users, or use the platform for unlawful purposes.

9. Limitation of liability

TODO: standard limitation of liability clause. Engitrack's aggregate liability is capped at the amount you paid for the certificate.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting support@engitrack.in.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts in TODO (city).

12. Changes

We may update these terms. Registered users will be notified by email of material changes 30 days in advance.
